About | Mitten Doula

Hi, I'm Ilaena Liang. My passion for birth work began after my daughter was born in 2021. After experiencing what support was like with my own birth doula, I became inspired to offer the same support to my community.

In November 2021, I became a birth doula through DONA International. My passion for this line of work allows me to care deeply and provide genuine support when hired on with a new family. I am passionate about supporting any and all birthing persons who want a doula, and provide evidence-based information so my clients can feel empowered during their pregnancy, labor, and birthing experience.

Ilaena Liang is a DONA trained Birth Doula, Community Breastfeeding Educator, and Cannacian serving the Metro Ann Arbor and Metro Detroit Michigan Areas.
